New Curriculum for Wales - Let's Get Started
The world is changing. There are lots of new challenges that will need new technology and new ideas. The Welsh Government want pupils to have the knowledge, skills and experiences they will need to succeed.
Curriculum isn’t just about what children are learning. It is also about how they learn and the reasons why they learn.
Here at Adamsdown primary school, we are working hard to review our provision, pedagogy and design a curriculum that meets the needs of all of our children.
The four purposes are at the heart of our new curriculum. They are the starting point for all decisions on the content and experiences developed as part of the curriculum to support our children to become:
Ambitious, capable learners ready to learn throughout their lives
Enterprising, creative contributors, ready to play a full part in life and work
Ethical, informed citizens of Wales and the world
Healthy, confident individuals, ready to lead fulfilling lives as valued members of society.
