A message from our Chair of Governors
Dear all,
Everyone connected to the school already knows how much good goes on here, we all know how hard staff work to make this the friendliest and safest place it can be and how inspirational Mrs Thomas and her leadership team truly are. We all already knew that, but it so good to see that work recognised by others. Here are just a few of my personal highlights.
“Staff at Adamsdown Primary School create a warm and welcoming place where its diverse school community thrive.”
“Pupils are ambitious, respectful and very happy. They settle into school quickly, love learning and benefit greatly from the school’s highly effective approach to language acquisition”
“The strong partnership with parents and nurturing ethos of the school ensure that all pupils feel safe and develop a strong sense of belonging”
The thoughtful approach to meeting pupils’ individual needs improves their life chances and raises their aspiration.
“Pupils’ behaviour in classrooms and around the school is exceptional.”
“most pupils have extremely positive attitudes to learning and are often highly engaged.”
“The school’s work to develop pupils’ English language is exemplary”
“All staff at Adamsdown Primary School are committed to creating and maintaining an inclusive community where pupil welfare is a priority”
“The headteacher provides exemplary leadership and acts as a strong role model for the whole school community”
I am so proud to say that I am connected with this school and wanted to thank everyone: Mrs Thomas and her leadership team, the teachers, the assistants, the admin staff, the kitchen staff, the cleaners, the caretaker, the other governors and of course you the parents and pupils. Everyone contributed to this wonderful report, and it is great that Adamsdown Primary is getting the recognition it thoroughly deserves.
Well done and diolch yn fawr to you all.
