    Dear Parents/Carers,

We encourage children at Adamsdown Primary to eat a balanced diet and drink plenty of water so they are fit and ready to learn. Next week we will be promoting a healthy eating week across the school to reinforce important messages about our health and well-being.

Please ensure if your child has a packed lunch they have at least one portion of fresh fruit or vegetables. We would kindly ask if sugary snacks, high-fat or fried foods are limited or removed completely.

Children should be provided with a reusable water bottle, we ask that only water is brought to school. If you provide your child with a snack for break, please ensure it is only fresh fruit or vegetables.

On Tuesday 11th March we will be running a healthy eating workshop. Please come along to the New Hall at 9am to get plenty of healthy lunchbox ideas and top tips about a nutritious diet for your child.

Thank you for your continued support,

    Mrs A Harrison
