Complaints Procedure

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

(CURRICULUM AND OTHER RELATED MATTERS)

 

The school implements fully the Local Authority's Complaints Procedure. This was introduced by Section 409 of the Education Reform Act 1996. Details of arrangements covering complaints are available at the school.

 

In general, there are three levels at which a complaint could be considered. The first stage is via informal discussion with the Head teacher. It is hoped that most complaints will be dealt with at this level.

 

In the event where this is not possible, the two other levels of complaint are a formal complaint to the Governing Body and a formal complaint to the LEA.
