update 24th March 2020
Due to new government advice issued last night families should now be keeping children at home and only leave home for the following reasons;
- to shop for food or medicine
- to exercise once a day but no more than 2 people together when outside
- essential travel for key workers
You are able to collect free school meals from school this week and further information will be issued shortly from the council on how you can obtain meals during the rest of the closure period.
Staff are keeping in touch with families over the closure period to check on the children so at some point during the closure your teacher will ring your child for a quick catch up.
Staff are working hard to put enough learning online for the next two weeks. This will be reviewed after two weeks. Children do not need to work all day everyday as it is impossible to replicate school at home. Try to alternate a small amount of school work with a fun activity or film. Our twitter account is posting lots of ideas about how to occupy children at home @adamsdownprm
if your child cannot access the internet they can work on any paper you have and do not worry about showing the teachers while we are closed - they can keep their work and show teachers when we get back.
I hope you are all safe and well.
