October Half Term Updates

Dear parent / guardians,

As you are aware the Welsh Government have announced a 'fire breaker lockdown' from Friday 23rd October at 6pm to Monday 9th November 2020.

This lockdown coincides with the half term holiday so school will be closed from this Friday and we will re-open on Monday 2nd November 2020 for all children. Primary schools are considered an essential service and we are very pleased to welcome the children back on 2nd November despite Wales still being in lockdown at that stage.

During this lockdown everyone is being advised to stay at home to reduce the spread of covid-19. I understand this will be a worrying and challenging time especially as it is during the half term holiday. I urge all our families to follow the Government guidance, please protect yourselves, your families and the wider community by staying at home and not mixing with other households.

We look forward to welcoming your children back after half term. Please note that we have an INSET day on Monday 9th November so school will be closed for one day allowing staff to complete essential training.

Thank you for your ongoing support during these uncertain times.

Stay safe

Mrs Thomas - Head Teacher
