MESSAGE FROM MRS THOMAS
Dear parents/ carers,
As we prepare to close the school for an uncertain amount of time I wish to take a moment to reassure you, your families and your children.
We are in the midst of unpredictable times. Please remember that when this crisis ends we will all come back together as a school community and return to normal. Myself and the staff will be here to welcome you back when school is allowed to reopen and we will support all our families who need us.
Adamsdown Primary School is a wonderful place to be. Everyday our school is filled with excitable and curious children who love to learn. Our staff are going to post ideas for home learning throughout our closure via the class pages on the school website. I thank them for their efforts. I am incredibly lucky to have such a dedicated team. If you are able to support your child with home learning these resources will help.
However, I must ask that your main priority while you are at home is your family’s well being. Children will look to us all for our reactions in these difficult times. Focus on spending time with your children and creating some positive memories that they can talk about in years to come.
We are currently awaiting guidance on how we can support the vulnerable children and key workers of Adamsdown. We will continue to update parents via twitter, schoop and the school website.
Please do listen carefully to the Government’s guidance on how to stay safe and protect your families.
We hope to see you all very soon.
Mrs E Thomas
